Primer Grof is a ready-to-use bonding primer with coarse grain, specially designed for applying a concrete look over tiles. Degrease and clean the tiles, apply the primer evenly over the tiles and the grout lines and immediately create a rough substrate. In combination with Stuco Paste you can then work in multiple thin layers — without thick render coats and without professional plastering experience.

Applications

To be used as bonding and texture layer before Stuco Paste on substrates such as:

• Ceramic tiles – Over tiles and grout lines
• Mixed substrates – Zones with tiles, boards and repairs
• Bathrooms, kitchens, toilets and other interior spaces

Application

1. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and grease-free. Degrease tiles thoroughly.
2. Stir the primer briefly and apply a generous even coat with roller or brush.
3. Cover the entire surface: over the tiles and the grout lines for a uniform, rough texture.
4. Allow the primer to dry according to label instructions (depending on temperature/ventilation).
5. Apply Stuco Paste in one or more thin layers and scrape smooth. Thanks to the coarse primer, a thick render coat is not necessary.
6. If desired, work in additional thin layers until the desired flatness and appearance is achieved.

Tip: Working thin = sleek result. The combination of Primer Grof and Stuco Paste makes a professional concrete look achievable without thick render coats.
