Primer for Absorbent Substrates – Optimal Adhesion for Microcement & Lavasteen Seamless Floor

Our high-quality Primer for absorbent and non-absorbent substrates is specially developed to create a perfect base for the application of microcement and Lavasteen seamless floors on floors and walls. This primer penetrates deeply into porous, absorbent substrates such as cement-bonded screeds and anhydrite floors, plasterwork, concrete and gypsum, and ensures a significantly improved adhesion of the final finish layer.

Applications:

This primer is ideal for use on:

• Cement-bonded subfloors and anhydrite

• Concrete walls and floors

• Plaster layers (for example based on lime or gypsum)

• Plasterboard and other absorbent surfaces

• Wood

Application:

Use primer undiluted for non-absorbent substrates.

Dilute primer 1:1 with water

Apply the primer with a roller or brush onto a clean, dry and dust-free substrate. Allow the product to dry completely before the microcement or Lavasteen seamless floor is applied. Application temperature: between 10°C and 30°C.

Coverage ± 100 grams per m² per coat. For highly absorbent substrates, apply twice.
