Description

Green 3 – Microcement in Natural Concrete Green

The green undertone as you truly see it

Here you see the green clearly

Green 3 is our classic concrete colour with a green undertone. You truly see the green, whilst it unmistakably remains concrete. Think of old factory buildings in green surroundings where the concrete has been subtly tinted.

G3 is for those who are certain of a green undertone: present, distinctive and natural. Simply beautiful green concrete.

Why Green 3 works

  • Clear green colour – recognisable and distinctive
  • Natural concrete green – robust and refined, timeless
  • Calming effect – green soothes
  • With character – warmer than grey, contemporary
  • Waterproof after finishing – seamless and strong
  • Underfloor heating – thin layer, fast and even warmth
  • Easy to keep clean – simple daily maintenance
  • No demolition work – applicable after preparation over existing layers

Where It Fits

Green 3 works in natural interiors, modern homes with abundant plants and spaces with a strong connection to the outdoors. The foundation remains calm and distinctive at the same time.

Where it belongs

  • Homes with abundant plants – connects inside and outside
  • Natural interiors – beautiful with wood and stone
  • Wellness centres – calming and natural
  • Modern lofts – industrial with a green twist
  • Creative spaces – inspiring and calm

Colour Combinations & Materials

  • Nature & warmth – oak or walnut, travertine, lime paint; softens and deepens G3
  • Modern contrast – black steel, smoked glass; graphic touch without coldness
  • Softness – linen, wool, green plants; balance and calm

Light & Space

  • Small spaces – use G3 as an accent; light ceilings and indirect lighting keep it airy
  • Large spaces – G3 can carry floor and walls; texture provides depth and an inviting atmosphere
  • Daylight – cool light makes it greyer, warm light deepens the green tint; test at home

Comparison within the green range

Green 3 is greener than Green 2 and lighter than Green 4. Natural, distinctive green tone without becoming heavy? G3 is the sweet spot.

Frequently asked questions about Microcement Green 3

How do you prevent Green 3 from becoming too dominant?

Choose warm, light materials (wood, linen, light natural stone) and sufficient daylight or ambient lighting. Matte brass or black provides modern accents with balance.

Is Green 3 suitable for kitchens and hospitality spaces?

Yes. Clean with mild, pH-neutral products and lukewarm water. Wipe away grease, coffee and acids promptly to keep the matte topcoat looking beautiful.

Does Green 3 work well with underfloor heating?

Yes. The thin, seamless layer conducts heat quickly and evenly.

Can Microcement Green be applied over existing tiles?

Yes. Due to the minimal layer thickness, it can be applied over tiles after preparation. Level joints and tile surface with Stucopaste for a flat base.

Is floor cooling possible with this finish?

Yes. With correct build-up, floor cooling works comfortably; the thin layer responds quickly, without noticeable condensation under normal conditions.

Is microcement the best choice for a shower floor?

Microcement with PU topcoat is suitable for bathrooms, walls and floors. For shower floors, we often recommend Lavasteen Seamless Floor for maximum durability.
