White Poured Floor

There is no such thing as “one” white. In our 56-colour collection, there are various white and off-white shades, each with a different character. Below is a guide per family.

Pure White — for Maximum Brightness

The starkest, coolest white in our palette. Works strongly in modern architecture, minimalist bathrooms, and large spaces with abundant daylight. Combines beautifully with black tapware and glass.

Off-White & Cream Shades (Nude 1, Sand 1, Pearl)

Just slightly warmer than pure white, with a light beige or cream undertone. More pleasant in older homes and smaller spaces — gives less of a “hospital” feel than pure white. Pairs well with wooden furniture and natural materials.

Warm-White Shades (Sea Shell, Linnen)

Our warmest whites with a subtle sandy undertone. Ideal for living rooms and bedrooms with an intimate atmosphere. Forgive light differences between daylight and evening light better than stark white.

White Bathroom Wall

Choose microcement. Our microcement whites such as Pure White, Nude 1 and Sand 1 deliver a seamless bathroom feel without grout lines. Matte-minimalist — no glossy reflections that make fluorescent lighting harsh.

White bathroom floor or shower floor

Choose Lavasteen Seamless Floor. Our Sea Shell, Pearl and Linnen deliver the same white appearance, but on an epoxy base — inherently waterproof for wet rooms. With PU topcoat, the white colour stays fresh for years.

White living room or kitchen floor

Choose Lavasteen Seamless Floor in warmer white. Sea Shell or Linnen add warmth to a large space without appearing “cold”. Robust for daily use, easy to maintain with PU topcoat.

White shows visible dirt quickly

Partly true. A white seamless floor shows dust slightly faster than dark colours, but less than white tiles (no grout lines where dirt settles). The PU topcoat makes cleaning simple — mopping suffices.

Do white floors turn yellow over time?

With cheap epoxy floors, yes, due to UV exposure. We use UV-stable PU topcoat, specially formulated for whiter shades, to prevent yellowing. Particularly important in spaces with direct sunlight.

What light level is ideal for a white poured floor?

White poured floors work best in spaces with sufficient natural light. In dark spaces (basement, hallway without windows), white can appear rather gloomy. Consider a warmer off-white as a compromise.
